This Privacy Policy will help you better understand how we collect, use, and share your personal information. If we change our privacy practices, we may update this privacy policy. If any changes are significant, we will let you know (for example, through the BookingTimes admin or by email).

1. Some Key Terms

In our Privacy Policy, when we refer to “Clients”, we mean our clients who utilize our Systems and Services, including visitors to our company website. Users, visitors, and customers of our client’s websites are referred to as “End Users”.

2. How this Privacy Policy Applies

This Privacy Policy describes what we do with personal information that we collect and use for our own purposes (i.e., where we are a controller), such as your account information and information about how you use and interact with our Services, including information you submit to our customer support as well as certain information relating to your End Users.

We also host, store and process the personal details of End Users on behalf of our Clients. If you are an End User of one of our Client’s sites and want to know how your information is handled, you should check the site's relevant privacy policy.

3. What is Collected

BookingTimes.com collects your information when you use the website and communicate by email or phone. This information can include your name, contact information, phone numbers, and credit card details.

We may also collect non-personal information such as usage as your IP address, browser version, operating system which may be released in anonymous form such as a report publishing our website usage trends.

4. Cookies

Like most websites, BookingTimes uses cookies to store a user's website preferences. If you do not wish to have cookies placed on your computer, you should set your browser to refuse cookies before using our website, with the drawback that certain features will not function properly without the aid of cookies.

5. How we collect your information

We obtain personal information from various sources. We do this in three main ways:
  • You provide some of it directly (such as by registering for an Account).
  • We record some of it automatically when you use our Services or Users’ sites (including with technologies like cookies).
  • We receive some of it from third parties (like when you register for an account using a Third Party Service or when you make payments to us using our payment processor).

6. Why we use your information

The personal information that is collected to provide is for billing, identification, authentication, service improvement, research and website development.

BookingTimes will not share your information to anyone except to assist with a lawful investigation, comply with the law, provide the requested services, develop our products, protect our rights or to contact you.

Some third party service providers such as website hosts, payment service providers and backup service providers may have access to personal information held by us that (a) need to know that information in order to process it on BookingTimes behalf or to provide services available at the BookingTimes website and (b) and have agreed not to disclose it to others.

Aggregated non-personal data may be shared with third parties in order to improve the BookingTimes website.

We do not and will not “sell” your personal information.

7. Your Rights

Where applicable law requires (and subject to any relevant exceptions under law), you may have the right to access, update, change or delete personal information. You can access, update, change or delete personal information (or that of your End Users) either directly in your Account or by contacting us at support@bookingtimes.com to request the required changes. You can exercise your other rights (including deleting your Account) by contacting us via your Account at the same email address. Please note that we may need to verify your identity in connection with your requests, and such verification process may, if you do not have access to your Account, require you to provide us with additional information (eg. government identification). Even if you have access to your Account, we may request additional information if we believe it’s necessary to verify your identity. If we are unable to verify your identity or request, we may not, in accordance with applicable law, be able to fulfill your request.

Please note that, for technical reasons, there is likely to be a delay in deleting your personal information from our systems when you ask us to delete it. We also will retain personal information in order to comply with the law, protect our and others’ rights, resolve disputes or enforce our legal terms or policies, to the extent permitted under applicable law.

You may have the right to restrict or object to the processing of your personal information or to exercise a right to data portability under applicable law. You also may have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority, subject to applicable law Additionally, if we rely on consent for the processing of your personal information, you have the right to withdraw it at any time and free of charge. When you do so, this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before your consent withdrawal.

Protected Health Information

BookingTimes maintains Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance in its function as a Business Associate. If you have a relevant request or complaint, please raise it with the applicable healthcare provider or government department.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information regarding you or your use of the Services for as long as your Account is active or for as long as needed to provide you or our Users with the Services. We also retain personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, for example, to comply with our legal obligations, to protect us in the event of disputes and to enforce our agreements and to protect our and others’ interests.

The precise periods for which we keep your personal information vary depending on the nature of the information and why we need it. Factors we consider in determining these periods include the minimum required retention period prescribed by law or recommended as best practice, the period during which a claim can be made with respect to an agreement or other matter, whether the personal information has been aggregated or pseudonymized, and other relevant criteria.

As Users may have a seasonal site or come back to us after an Account becomes inactive, we don’t immediately delete your personal information when your trial expires, or you cancel all Paid Services. Instead, we keep your personal information for a reasonable period of time, so it will be there for you if you come back. You may delete your Account data permanently by contacting us at support@bookingtimes.com and BookingTimes will delete the personal information it holds about you (unless we need to retain it for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy).

9. Business Transfers

If BookingTimes was acquired, or in the unlikely event that it goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of BookingTimes may continue to use your information as set forth in this policy.

10. Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, BookingTimes may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and at BookingTimes sole discretion. We encourage users to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
